![]() The Biker Sandy ![]() I look like a Barbie Doll here with my handsome husband, Dave. ![]() My husband, David Clemons, does public art projects. This is the statue of a young man, Will Johnson, who died in a football game in Harrells, N.C. This tribute to Will acts as a reminder that life can be taken away from us at any moment and that we need to make sure that we live each day to its fullest and that we are right with God. To see more of David's work, go to www.PublicArtByClemons.com. ![]() We play dress up for New Years Eve at my house. This year, the theme was Oriental. We couldn't decide on Japanese or Chinese so we combined the two. This is Dave, humbly building a fire, waiting for a rikshaw to pull around. |
BiographyBiographies are fun, aren't they? Whether or not you enjoy any of this is up to you, but writing freely about myself and my family is kind of theraputic! Why the "Hardin" part in Sandra Hardin Clemons? To give respect to my parents, Virgil and Shirley Hardin. They've been my good friends and supporters. HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated, 1980, Chelsea High School, Chelsea Oklahoma. There were 66 people in my graduation class! Yes, I'm a midwestern girl. COLLEGE: Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma. BS in Speech Communications Consultancy. In other words, I talk reeeel good! KIDS: Jordan - 22. Jordan is a graduate from the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. He is an amazing actor and acting coach. He plays several instruments and sings. I can't believe I'm old enough to have a 22 year old. I think I'm going to introduce him as my Nephew! Simon - 16. He's 6'3"! He just got his learners permit to drive so we're all a bit nervous. God bless him, he is THE most accepting person I've ever met. Football is Simon's life! He is the drummer in our family band. Jonah - 15. My cuddler. He's got the eye lashes that every girl wants and a spirit that everyone ought to know. Jonah is the guitar / Ukelele player. Jeremiah - 13. Jerry is out to rule the world and he's just letting everyone know this in his own time. He's either going to be an Evangelist or a Talk Show Host. We're not sure yet. HUSBAND: Dave Clemons. What a hunk! Graphic Designer, Illustrator, Artist, true man of God. I'm very fortunate because I get all this free, excellent service for web page design, book cover design, e-zine template design, art, illustrations! If you need some graphic design help, you can see Dave's website at www.DavidLClemons.com. HOME: I live in the mountains in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The deer and wild turkey's walk around in my yard (and eat my flowers!) I work from home, and play piano and sing for my church. I teach acting and modeling and give private voice and piano lessons. Pretty down home kind of stuff. MY HOBBIES: I had hopes at one time of working as a classical pianist. Then one day, in college, I remember telling my older sister Debra, "No one actually becomes a classical pianist, do they?" I was terrified I'd end up teaching piano and I didn't want to do that. However, music and theatre have been a big part of my life. I act and sing locally whenever I can. Since I refuse to give up my "in the woods" kind of living, I travel often to get my fill of live theatre. My dream is to act on Broadway someday. But I can't figure out how to act on Broadway and still live in Idaho. Hmmmm. I play the piano, guitar, banjitar, violin (very, very badly), mandolin. I LOVE to sight read music. In some circles, I'm considered to be a very sick woman! |
